Sunday, May 3, 10am-2pm
Come out and show your school spirit at this family-friendly event. Help beautify the school grounds and build your biking skills in prep for May Bike-to-School-Month! There will be a variety of activities to participate in:
- Worm Bin Restoration
- Bike Skills Course
Gardening tools and work gloves provided. Bring your own bike and helmet.
Additional support, including procurement of treats for participants, is greatly appreciated. Contact Janel.
Throughout the month of May, students are encouraged to walk, bike or scooter to school and other activities. Prizes or treats will be distributed to all participants each Friday in May. Also, get your name entered into a drawing for one of several "grand" prizes at the end of the month. Each day in May that you choose to walk, bike or scooter to an activity, you can enter the drawing. More details to come. To help kick-off the month, please join us on Sunday, May 3 from 10am-2pm for the Bike Rodeo--a fun way for kids to build their biking skills and develop a greater understanding of bike safety. The rodeo will take place on the main playground.
