The latest issue of the student-run newsletter Wally! is coming out today! This month includes Wally Chopped and Funny Short Story contest winners, and a new assistent editor-in-chief. Ms. Margie’s morning class worked together with their kindergarten buddies in Ms. Margretta’s morning class to write most of the articles in the issue.
There is a new arts and crafts contest and the deadline is ! The deadine for writing articles for the upcoming issue is also
Thanks to all who have signed up for lead and support roles in the planning of Fiesta Latina! There are still plenty of opportunities to help out.
The next (optional) planning meeting is on Wednesday, April 22nd.
As a reminder, Fiesta Latina will be Friday, May 8th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at JSIS.
Fiesta Latina is a fun celebration of Latino culture and a fundraiser for our sister school, Juan de la Barrera! As Fiesta Latina was such a success last year and to keep the planning as simple as possible, we plan to have it be very similar to last year.
